B.S., Chemical Engineering, Florida State University, 2001

Research Focus:

I am interested in catalysis and kinetic reactions. As a first year graduate student, I am unsure of what the exact nature of my research will entail.

Internship or Partner Interaction:

I have interned with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection as an engineer. My main responsibility was to analyze available data obtained from different sites using bioremediation techniques. The bioremediation techniques were used to clean petroleum leakage from underground gas tanks. The petroleum eventually reached the aquifer and contaminated the water.

Personal Statement:

The NEAT-IGERT program made it possible for me to attend the University of California at Davis and expand my knowledge in chemical engineering and research experience.
